Our Story
A popular landmark at the north end of Lake George Village, Mario’s has been cooking for you since 1954 — now marking its 70th anniversary under one family. Popular for generations, with locals and tourists alike.
Our kitchen serves both Italian and American fare: imported pastas with a vast array of made-to-order sauces, fresh seafood, steaks, chicken, pork chops, and hand-cut veal specialties from Osso Buco to Saltimbocca. It’s all rounded out by a full-service bar and a fine wine list.
Your hosts, Paul & Nancy Nichols, welcome you.
The Room
Step inside and you’ll find the warmth of a proper family trattoria — ornate pressed-tin ceilings, ivy-draped archways, white linens and a lively lounge. It’s the kind of room made for lingering over another glass of Chianti.

Food is amazing! Fresh ingredients. You not only get a phenomenal meal at Mario's — you get an experience.
An old-school Italian restaurant with a very romantic atmosphere. Cozy, nicely decorated, and a full bar.
Popular for generations — knowledgeable staff, homemade sausage sauce, and warm bread with red sauce to start.
